3D Drunken Clock Screensaver 4.02

If you want to see an analog clocking wobbling on your desktop, then you need to take a look at the Michael Sablin developed application, the aptly named Drunken Clock Screensaver. If you want to see a 3D clock wobbling around on your desktop, then you need to take a look at 3D Drunken Clock.

The bad news is that the 3D version of Drunken Clock Screensaver doesn’t have much to offer. The 3D animations aren’t that good looking, there are only two skins to choose from, only two drunken effects to choose from, and no other settings to play with. If I had to choose, I would not choose the 3D version, I would go with the regular one.

Why you ask? There are several reasons: numerous skins to choose from, easily download more skins from the web, language support for French and Russian (not English only), sound effects, adjust the screensaver’s speed, choose between various styles, and the option to add a custom message that will be displayed as a scrolling text at the bottom. Please note that this option is only available in the registered version of Drunken Clock Screensaver. In the unregistered version a registration reminder is displayed as a scrolling text.

If you still want to get 3D Drunken Clock Screensaver, before you go get it and put it to the test, there are some technical details you need to know about. The following technical details:

Download – the download weighs in at 3.6MB, which means it will only take a moment to get the application off the web and onto your computer.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, 3D Drunken Clock Screensaver provides support for Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, 2003, and XP.
Limitations – the screensaver is not freeware, it is only free to try. The trial version is not time-limited, so you can use it for as long as you want. But a short time after the screensaver kicks in, a registration reminder will appear, reminder that takes up much of the screen.
